Payments by students, academics, authors, and bloggers
PayPal is preferred for speed of payment and should be used by students so that I can get to work on your document immediately.
If you have your own PayPal account:

If you DO NOT have a PayPal account:
Ask Stephen York to issue you with a Send money request to your email address.
Please ensure payments are in GB pounds sterling.
Your own credit and debit cards are accepted through my PayPal account. You do not always need your own PayPal account.
Please advise me by email when you have made payment and I will acknowledge receipt by email when I receive confirmation of receipt from PayPal. A full receipted invoice for all sums paid by you to me will be sent to you when I complete and return your document after proofreading.
BACS
Payment for proofreading fees is accepted by direct bank transfer (BACS) using PC or mobile internet banking – bank account details will be provided to you on an emailed invoice. Please allow up to three days in the bank clearing system, although some banks operate a Faster Payments System for transfers within 2 hours – for example, Barclays Bank and Santander.

GoCardless has been awarded ISO 27001 certification, which is is a widely recognised, internationally accepted standard for information security, and has been authorised by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority.
You can raise a one-off or repeat direct debit payments (UK or international) from your bank account to mine (Stephen York Editorial Services) by following this link.
Direct debit payments can take up to 3 days to be collected from your account and 2 more days to reach me, so please allow plenty
of time.
